After graduating from the International Baccalaureate Program in upstate South Carolina, I decided to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the College of Charleston. During my four years at the college, I maintained a high GPA, and was an active member of Psi Chi, the Psychology Honors Society. I spent a large portion of my senior year working with the College of Charleston Communications Department advising faculty members on implementing electronic portfolio technology into the department curriculum.

While I thrived in both of my academic concentrations, I developed a passion for management and technologies during my early years at the College of Charleston. After founding The Design Group with a partner, Brent Tabor, we were able to effectively mold the company into a well rounded team of individuals specializing in large scale development and interactive media projects with clients that include Seabrook and Kiawah Islands, the South Carolina National Guard and the Savannah-based Optim Health hospital network.
